Outdoor Emergency Application Guide LED Secondary Source Emergency ELED / 2ELED | The emergency ELED option from Lithonia Lighting is a unique emergency illumination solution to meet the growing demand of outdoor egress code applications. The ELED option has been designed to operate as a secondary source for a minimum of 90 minutes after normal AC power is interrupted. | | ELED can be ordered with one or two LED modules and works with HID or compact fluorescent main sources. Each module incorporates three 70 lumen LEDs (ELED provides a lumen output of 210 lumens while the 2ELED option delivers 420 lumens). The 2ELED option features two modules which are wired in parallel with one another. In the unlikely event that one module fails, the other module will remain illuminated preventing the area from falling into total darkness, addressing NEC 700.16 redundancy code requirements. | | | ELED is available with the Architectural Sconce Series, Omero Wall mounted and CSX1 LED luminaire families. ELED is capable of operating in temperatures as low as -4 F (-20C) and is available with all optical choices. The option is provided fully wired and ready-to-mount from the factory. U.S. Patent No. 7,737,640. | See accompanying FLIER for more.
